Well, it appears that my posts aren't long enough... I know that because the yellow undertone to this blog has appeared at the bottom. So, here I am trying to find something interesting to say so that I can make up for the extra space.

I went off to my favourite Chinese restaurant and ended up helping behind the counter because it was so busy. Why? you might ask.... well, let me tell you...

Due to the Lunar New Year celebrations, there was the annual Lion Dance and it appeared that everyone and their dog (actually, I didn't see many dogs) was out to watch the dancing and then everyone converged into all of the restaurants in the vicinity. When I got there to eat my lunch, there was a queue to get into the dining room and a queue to buy the "honey buns" that the white people like to eat. (Personally, I like the red bean filled sesame balls) They sold out of buns by about 2:30 pm and then the dining room folks began to disperse.

Because of the huge crowds, I helped out selling buns and running back and forth between the kitchen. I even renewed the paper towels in the washrooms...

After it all died down, I finally got to eat and all was well.

It really was an interesting Sunday in Victoria...
